Today we tried to finish up our assessment of basic math facts fluency that we began on Friday. Being able to quickly recall math facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division is a skill that can make learning higher levels of math so much easier. It is vital to the success of our students.
FRIDAY

Today was an early release Friday professional development day for teachers, but an inflatable bounce party for the middle school students. I'm sure students had a blast playing on the inflatables that were provided at no cost to students on Friday afternoon.
In math class, we began our Math Facts Assessment. This activity utilized the Chromebooks to give kids and myself the chance to see how well they know the basics of math. The list of activities was lengthy and students were unable to complete it today, but will work more on it Monday.
