WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY

Students had to correctly answer all problems from the Subtracting Integers practice problems (see Wednesday) as well as the Divide review in order to begin their work on chrome books.  Once chrome books were in hand, students proceeded to practice multiplication facts and submit their results to this website, as well as practice more basic facts on XtraMath.org.  Next, students finished their online assignments from Edcite.com.  Finally, students picked up where they had left of with Buzz Math.  Students have an assignment called Dividing Scientific Notation.

WEDNESDAY
2-4-15

Students worked on Big 10 Day 4 and then reviewed subtracting integers and division.  These two skills are being stressed to help students be successful with our next learning target which is dividing scientific notation.  In order to do these problems, students need to divide the front numbers in the scientific notation by each other and subtract the exponents.  Students really need a lot of practice with subtraction and division of this type.  Subtracting Integers
