THURSDAY
2-12-15
Today we worked on Big 10 Day 7. We also reviewed subtracting integers. SUBTRACTING INTEGERS. We corrected the assignment from Wednesday and students were returned their Unit 3 Quiz 5 from yesterday, also. Soon we will be learning to raise a number written in scientific notation to a power. Today's assignment was to improve any work grades that are currently not as good as we would like them to be. We used Skyward in the classroom so we could see what was needed to be corrected.
WEDNESDAY

Today we completed Big 10 Day 6. We corrected our assignment from Tuesday,, and we also took a quiz over this learning target. We completed a learning target self-assessment exit slip that we could use to help us with our quiz. Our assignment was a review of both multiplying and dividing scientific notation: MULTIPLYING & DIVIDING SCIENTIFIC NOTATION.
TUESDAY
2-10-15
Today we completed Big 10 Day 5. We used our previous week's assignment as a learning tool, rather than a grade. Students were asked to choose problems from the assignment that I then showed the class how to do. Later, students were given all of the correct answers to write down for a guide and as examples on how to do the next assignment. Today's assignment was DIVIDING SCIENTIFIC NOTATION #2.
