TUESDAY
Felt like a Friday today. Students were pretty wound up in general. They'll probably return Monday still in food comas from eating so much over the Thanksgiving holiday, so I'll have to work hard to keep them awake! Anyway, today we worked hard on scientific notation and students had a lot of work. A few finished in class, but the rest will have to finish it over break if they didn't complete it during academic advisory. We did Reteaching 7-1/Practice 7-1, a worksheet. Then we learned about negative exponents in scientific notation and how they are similar to and yet different from positive exponents in scientific notation. Finally, their other assignment was p. 379 #23-32.
