11-24-14
We began class by turning in our assignment from Friday, p. 367 #13-20. Once students turned in their assignments, they got their chrome books and practiced multiplication facts. They took screenshots of their results and then submitted them to this website. Then they were off to work on Buzz Math, a free application that's attached to their email accounts through Google chrome. Their job was to earn two stars, one for a module called "Evaluate Negative Exponents" and another called "Scientific Notation". We tried to play Kahoot as a class, but the wi-fi was not very cooperative. There was no assignment. At the end of the day we were treated to an excellent performance by our high school drama club, directed by 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Michelle Howarth. The kids laughed a lot and really enjoyed the production, as did I. GREAT JOB, DRAMA CLUB! What a talented bunch!
