Catch Up Post

Wednesday
Today was a technology day.  We did receive our Big 10 quizzes back and charted our progress on our growth data sheets.  We then worked on our multiplication facts online and submitted those screenshots to me.  Next, we worked on completing Buzzmath session 1 dealing with rational and irrational numbers.  The goal was to get all 3 parts complete in order to earn 3 stars.  Screenshots were taken and submitted to me.

Thursday
After our Big 10 Round 5 Day 1 problems, we worked with our white boards and markers to practice estimating square roots of non-perfect squares.  We then incorporated our new learning target and located our irrational numbers on a number line on the class white board.  There was no homework assigned.

Friday
We worked on Big 10 Round 5 Day 2.  Next, we reviewed our Unit 1 learning targets.  Then, we worked on estimating answers to operations with irrational numbers.  We also located rational and irrational numbers on a number line.  We used our pre-test for unit 1 as practice problems.  There was no homework.
