WEDNESDAY

We didn't do any Big 10 today as we are holding off, in order to focus our complete attention on today's Unit 2 Test.  We began class by reviewing our learning targets and how to do the problems from each learning target.  Next, we went over questions students had over their Unit 2 Test Review assignment.  Then, we graded it.  And, finally, we took our Unit 2 Test.  Students are always encouraged to take their time and double check their answers for correctness and neatness, as to earn the most points possible.

TUESDAY
12-9-14

Today we finished Round 7 of the Big 10 Challenge.  Students were told to take their Big 10 Quiz 6, so that they would have it to study for the next quiz on Thursday.  Next, we corrected yesterday's review for unit 2 called Unit 2 Pre-Test.  Students have this with them to study for Wednesday's Unit 2 Test.  Finally, we have an assignment:  Unit 2 Test Review.  TEST WEDNESDAY :)

MONDAY

Today we worked on Day 4 of Round 7 of the Big 10 Challenge.  Then we corrected the assignment from last week, p. 368 #22-30.  We have learned how to order and compare numbers written in scientific notation by looking at their exponents.  It makes for a quick and easy way to know if one is bigger or smaller than the other.  After that, we used the Unit 2 Pre-Test as an assignment that would help us prepare for our upcoming test.
