Monday:  
Friday we finished Round 5 of Big 10.  Students were directed to take their previous Big 10 Quiz home to study and prepare for today's quiz.  Hopefully, they did and will see good scores as a result.  After the Big 10 Quiz, we continued to look at negative exponents and patterns that lead us to their answers.  It's surprising, but negative exponents lead us to fractions, not negative answers.  Finally, we practiced our new learning with #1-8 on Practice worksheet 7-3.  The assignment was #19-22 on p. 379.  It's due tomorrow and we'll likely have a quiz over negative exponents then.
