Catch Up

Friday, October 3rd and Monday, October 6th

Friday we finished our 2nd learning target which states that students can recognize the difference between rational and irrational numbers.  The culminating activity was students creating games of kahoot to test each others' knowledge of these types of numbers.  We got to then wrap up the class period by playing a couple of our classmates' kahoot games.  It was a lot of fun!  The kids seemed to enjoy making and especially playing the games!

Monday we began our third learning target.  We are learning to compare and order rational and irrational numbers.  There was a packet of information handed out that we worked on and students had an assignment.  The assignment was to find the square roots of the whole numbers from 1 to 5.
